PURPOSE: A MS Windows-based IP235 control library system is provided to control an IP235 as an IP(Industry Pack) module made by the Acromag company in MS windows 95/98/NT operating systems. CONSTITUTION: An IP control program(104) opens an IP235.DLL and installs a device driver(106) higher than WinDriver 4.0. Windrvr.vxd(windrvr.sys) is linked and compiled. Thereby, An IP235(108) installed on an IP carrier board(107) as an SBS Green spring CPCI-2000BP is controlled. An IP235-8 is a digital-to-analog converter having a memory. The IP235-8 simultaneously converts totally 8 channels from digital to analog in 10 micro-sec conversion time at the maximum. The IP235-8 has a 2k Word(16-bit conversion) internal memory and the function of generating an interrupt. Therefore, an MS Windows-based IP235 control library realizes the all function of the IP235-8.
