<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increasing of size, throughput, and power consumption of a circuit by making it possible to decrease the number of decode-processing means to be less than the number of candidate rates. SOLUTION: Symbol sequences 106-1 to 106-n are obtained in each processing sections 101-1 to 101-n by inserting symbols deleted at sending to a received symbol. The sequences 106-1 to 106-n are respectively blocked in processing sections 102-1 to 102-n into the number of symbols with respect to the number of repeats in the specified symbol to be added by symbol by the block unit. The addition narrows down the candidate sending rates in a processing section 103 by using sequences 107-1 to 107-n obtained for each candidate sending rate. Determined candidate rate symbol sequences 108-1 to 108-n, obtained by this are bit decoded in processing sections 104-1 to 104-n. Sending rate and decoded bit are output by determining sending rate of the decoded bit sequence 109-1 to 109-n obtained by this decoding in a processing section 105.</p> |
