PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a shutter in a lifting device for lifting floor. SOLUTION: This shutter mechanism comprises a sprocket 14 for driving a lifting floor 1, which is set within a vertical groove 5 provided on the side wall 2 of a water tank S, a roller chain 12 wound on the sprocket 14, having a length satisfying the depth dimension of the water tank S to suspend the lifting floor 1 through a hanger part 6, and a shutter plate 22 provided on the link 2 of the roller chain 12. The shutter plate 22 follows the hanger part 6 according to the vertical movement of the lifting floor 1 to shield the opening part 9 of the vertical groove 5.
