<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incineration treatment apparatus in which consumption of fuel gas and treatment amount of the combustible spent gas are suppressed, the treatment time is shortened, and the running cost is reduced. SOLUTION: The incineration treatment apparatus is equipped with a combustion chamber (1a), a burner (2) which burns in the chamber (1a) a combustion gas (G1) and a combustible spent gas (G2), and a catalyst vessel (21) provided downstream of the chamber (1a) A cooling means (12) is provided in the chamber (1a) for suppressing the rise of combustion temperature of the gas (G2). When the gas (G2) is self-extinguishing gas, the temperature of the inside of the chamber (1a) is kept at a base temperature (T1), and the objective gas (G2) is subjected to an incineration treatment in the tank (21).
