PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable suitable for attachability or the like onto a structure, which is expected to be developed because it does not exist hitherto although a technique using an observation result of Brillouin scattered light of incident light to the optical fiber laid fixedly onto the structure exists as a technique for detecting a very small deformation in the various kinds of structures such as a concrete structure in particular. SOLUTION: This optical fiber cable 2 (2A) is provided with an optical fiber storing part 5 of a flat cross section constituted to store embeddingly an internal optical fiber 4 for detecting a logitudinal-directional strain inside a resin for forming a skin, and a pair of high tensile member storing parts 6 constituted to expand protrudingly both cross-sectional longitudinal sides of the optical fiber storing part 5 and to fix embeddingly tensile members 7 in the resin for forming the skin, and this optical fiber cable 2 (2B) is provided with a tensile member storing parts 6a fixed embeddedly with temperature compensating optical fibers 8b.
