PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell insulating label creation method and its device which can easily create a cell insulating label to put on an object of labeling cells and manage safely. SOLUTION: The cell insulating label creation method creating cell insulating labels to put on at least either of both poles of a cell and electrically insulate from outside, comprises a cell type specifying process to specify a labeling cell type, a tape mounting process to enable mounting a tape having electrical insulation at least on either of the poles of the cell, and a tape cutting process to cut a tape so as to make the part to be separated become a cell insulating label larger than a given size corresponding to the type of the cell.
