PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information communication device where the communication time required for image information is effectively prevented from being extended by permitting image communication at a high resolution, only when high-resolution communication is required. SOLUTION: Related to an information communication device for image communication at a prescribed resolution, a reception-side information communication device for the image communication is provided with an informing means which informs a transmission-side device of a receivable resolution, while the transmission-side information communication device is provided with a transmission means which transmits an image at a prescribed resolution among receivable resolutions of the reception-side device. The transmission means, when a communication error occurs during the picture communication, prevents image picture transmission at the resolution used for the previous communication at the image communication next time with the same destination.
