PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably dispense a liquid such as a reagent or the like at a uniform discharge amount in a dispensing operation in a specimen testing device. SOLUTION: The specimen testing device is provided with a dispensing mechanism 40 which dispenses the liquid such as the reagent or the like to a plurality of recesses U1, for liquid dispensing, formed on a microplate U and a control part which controls the operation of the dispensing mechanism 40. The dispensing mechanism 40 is provided with a dispensing part 41 which sucks and discharges the liquid from a container containing the liquid and a conveyance part 90 which conveys the dispensing part 41. The control part is provided with a liquid suction function which instructs the dispensing part 41 to suck the liquid inside the container, an advance discharge function which instructs a part L2a of the sucked liquid L1a to be discharged and a dispensing function which instructs the liquid to be dispensed to the respective recesses U1 for liquid dispensing after the liquid has been discharged. |
