PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a traveling route with a small memory capacity. SOLUTION: In this device, the traveling route of a vehicle is divided according to road attribute, the route information for each section is compressed and stored, and the traveling route of the vehicle is restored on the basis of the road attribute from the stored route information for each section. Accordingly, the storage of the traveling route can be performed with a small memory capacity, compared with the storage of all nodes or links along the traveling route. |
