DROP-OUT DETECTING CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drop-out detecting circuit capable of performing the optimum drop-out detection with respect to the reproducing speed of a disk while easily changing parameters without requiring an external circuit or an analog circuit. SOLUTION: A bright side envelope signal 12 is extracted by a peak detecting circuit 3 from a digital RF signal 11 which is subjected to A/D conversion from an analog RF signal 1 by an A/D converter 2, and the inclination is detected by an inclination detecting circuit 4, and the drop-out is detected by the comparison made between a level of the inclination signal 13 and inclination reference parameters 14, 15 preliminarily set in a parameter changeover circuit 5, then the drop-out detecting signal 9 is outputted.
