PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach and detach a side lock to and from a door irrespective of an upper side rod and a lower side rod of a cremorne lock body in a locking device for the door having the cremorne lock body and the side lock. SOLUTION: An interlocking body 46 communicating with sliders 22, 23 in the cremorne lock body and vertically moved by the sliders is fitted to a connecting member 34. A connecting block 32 is fitted to the interlocking body 46 through a connecting bar 59. A side lock 3 having a side lock rod 9 has an engaging piece engaged with the connecting block 32 when inserted in the door 1. The upper side and lower side rods 7, 8 of the cremorne lock body are formed independently of the connecting block 32 and projected and retreated from the upper and lower end faces of the door by the sliders.
