PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a bridging rod, which can easily and quickly carry out mounting work and dismounting work, and to provide a mounting holder for sue in the mounting structure. SOLUTION: The bridging rod (3) consists of a bridging rod main body formed of a rod material, and downward extending insertion pieces (4) at both right and left ends of the main body. The mounting holder (5) for mounting the bridging rod on a standing pole for scaffolding, has insertion piece receptacles (52 to 54) protruded from an external surface of a cylindrical portion (51). Then, the cylindrical portion of the mounting holder is fitted onto a shaft of a scaffolding jack base to install the mounting holder, and a lower end of the standing pole is supported by an upper end of the cylindrical portion of the mounting holder. Further, while an upper portion of the insertion piece is abutted on both an upper end of the external surface of the cylindrical portion and a lower end of an external surface of the standing pole, a lower portion of the insertion piece is fitted into and held by the receptacle, to thereby mount the bridging rod on the standing pole.
