PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in bus wiring in a signal transmission system. SOLUTION: Wiring B[7]-B[0] constituting a bus 30 are arranged between a driver circuit 10 at a transmission side and a receiver circuit 20 at a reception side. Moreover, an equalize circuit 13 is constituted of CMOS switches 14 connected so as to be interposed among the adjacent bus wiring. At the time of changing data on the bus wiring, the outputs of try state buffers 12 at the transmission side become in high impedance states, and input buffers 22 at the reception side are made inactive, and an equalize(EQ) signal is risen so that the equalize circuit 13 can be operated. At the time of equalizing those buses, all the bus wiring is separated from a power source. After the potentials of the bus wiring are equalized, the EQ signal is fallen, and normal signal transmission is executed.
