PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recording and reproducing device which notifies a user of the fact that a set alarm reproducing can not be done in an IC recorder using a removable medium. SOLUTION: The voice recording and reproducing device, to which a recording medium that records audio data is made freely attachable and detachable, is provided with a time measuring means (a CPU 6), a time setting means (MENU buttons) which sets an arbitrary time, an audio file selecting means which selects an arbitrary audio file among audio files recorded in an attachable and detachable recording medium (a memory B) 63 and a recording means (a CPU 60) which records the set time that is set in the time setting means (MENU buttons) and the information regarding the audio file selected by the audio file selecting means into a recording medium (a memory A) 61 incorporated in a main body different from the attachable and detachable recording medium (the memory B) 63.
