PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode ray tube equipped with an electron gun structure which can display a good display image all over the phosphor through alleviation of difference in focusing characteristics generated against a pair of side beams. SOLUTION: An electron gun structure is provided with a focusing electrode G4 composed of three independent segments G4(r, g, b) corresponding to three electron beams. Between a final accelerating electrode G5 and a phosphor screen, conductive members 28(r, g, b) are independently arranged which are formed so that a part each of the three electron beams flows in and that flow volume changes according to the deflection state of the three electron beams. The final accelerating electrode G5, the conductive member 28 and the focusing electrode G4 in that order are electrically connected through resistors 22(r, g, b).
