PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem such that sure grip cannot be provided since the height of a main body is increased by packaging a storage medium loading device in a conventional video camera. SOLUTION: Since an L-shaped lid 12 is rotated upward and the height of an opening around a card inserting port 13 is enlarged just for a width L5 of a first side 12a, an operating space for loading/unloading a card can be secured and operability can be improved. Besides, by locating the lid 12 at the finger hooking part of an upper part on a grip side, the lid 12 can be used as a casing in the grip part of the main body and by limiting the height of the side face of the lid 12 to the height of a rotary shaft + the height of the card inserting port 13 + a height L3 of a lock pawl 17 as well, a main body height dimension H1 can be reduced. Further, sure grip can be provided by expanding a finger hooking space and forming the space into a horizontal plane thereby. |
