摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection controller capable of reducing combustion noise belonging to a desired frequency region among combustion noises in an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This fuel injection controller of an internal combustion engine capable of controlling fuel injection of an injector 2 in such a way that fuel to be injected at a time for one cylinder of the internal combustion engine 1 is divided into a plurality of steps and is injected is provided with a computing unit 4 calculating a target value of a difference in time when pressure waves occur (combustion interval) when combustion at each fuel injection step is done and a control device 3 controlling an interval of valve opening time of each injector 2 based on the difference in time. For example, in the case of pilot combustion for dividing fuel into two steps for injection, it is found that a specific high frequency component of cylinder internal pressure is reduced due to the interference of pressure waves when pilot combustion is done and pressure waves when main combustion is done to control a target frequency to be reduced to an optimum condition by controlling the difference in time between the pilot combustion and the main combustion.
