摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make effective use of the resources and overcome the environmen tal problems by restraining the deterioration of the battery characteristics such as large current discharge characteristics and cold temperature characteristics or the like and by ensuring profitability of recycling and cost reduction of the electrode material. SOLUTION: The hydrogen storage alloy electrode that is used for the nickel- hydrogen battery comprises in mixed state new hydrogen storage alloy particles and recycled hydrogen storage alloy particles, and the recycled hydrogen storage alloy particles having an average particle size difference (by laser diffraction) of 10μm or less between the new hydrogen storage alloy particles and the recycled hydrogen storage alloy particles are used. As the recycled hydrogen storage alloy particles of an average particle size difference of 10μm or less have nearly the same activity as the new hydrogen storage alloy particles, it is possible to restrain deterioration of the battery characteristics such as large current discharge characteristics and cold temperature characteristics or the like, thereby making effective use of the resources and overcoming the environmental problems.</p>
