PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dielectric ceramic, that can reduce loss and heat generation under high frequency and high-voltage/large current, can show stable insulating resistance under AC/DC load, and can use nickel or the like as an internal electrode material in a laminated capacitor. SOLUTION: This reduction-resistant dielectric ceramic is composed of solid solution and a sintering assistant. The solid solution is expressed by a general expression of ABO3+aR+bM and is mainly composed by barium titanate. In this case, R is a compound containing elements such as La, and M is a compound containing element, such as Mn with conditions of 1.000<A/B<=1.035, 0.005<=a<=0.12, and 0.005<=b<=0.12. In the ceramic, crystallographic ratio c/a obtained by X-ray diffraction in a temperature region of -25 deg.C or higher is set to 1.000<=c/a<=1.003, and the peak maximum value should be set to lower than -25 deg.C in the temperature dependency of a relative dielectric constant measured under electric field strength of 2 Vrms/mm or smaller at 1 kHz. |
