PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for distributing advertisement information by which advertisement information suitable for a network user can accurately and continuously be distributed without infringing the privacy of the network user. SOLUTION: An advertisement database 704 is given classifications corresponding to preferences for respective pieces of advertisement information which are being distributed. In a member database 710, classifications of preferences of members are registered. The classifications of the member database 710 are updated into the latest data according to the schedule registration contents of the members. Retrieval from the member database 710 and advertisement database 704 is carried out by using the same classification as a key and once a member group and an advertisement information group in the specific classification are determined, the advertisement information group in the same classification of a preference is sent in order to the member group through the Internet 1000.
