PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic developing machine which allows rapid drying in spite of small electric power consumption, is subjected to environmental countermeasure with energy saving, is capable of evaporating and thickening the waste water of a processing liquid by the heat within a drying section with saved energy and is subjected to the environment countermeasure. SOLUTION: The automatic developing machine for photosensitive materials, which processes the exposed photosensitive materials P by bringing the materials into contact with the processing liquid, then drying the materials in the drying section 9, has a transporting means A which transports the photosensitive materials P into the drying section 9, an air blowing means C which blows the air from a blasting means B to the photosensitive materials P, an air circulating route D which returns the air after the blowing to the blasting means, a heating temperature adjusting means E which adjusts the heating temperature of the circulating air and an waste liquid heating section 97 which evaporates and thickens the used processing liquid of a processing section.
