PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide operating device and an opening/closing operating device for a movable louver window using the slide operating device manufactured at a relatively low cost and having excellent operability. SOLUTION: This slide operating device has a sliding member 8 integral with an engaging part with an operated body; an operating member 9 connected to the sliding member so as to be displaceable in the same direction as the moving direction of the sliding member; a locking member 10 connected to the sliding member so as to be displaceable in an orthogonal direction to the moving direction of the sliding member and springily energized in a projecting direction; cam mechanisms (slant faces 19, 20) provided between the operating member and the locking member to convert the displacement of the operating member into the displacement of the locking member; and a locking plate 11 provided with a recess (a notch 17) with which the locking member is engaged when projected. Or the opening/closing operating device for a movable louver window is constituted by providing the sliding member in the slide operating device with a fork part 12 engaged with the end of a lever 4 integrally connected to a slat 3 rotatably provided at a window frame 2.
