PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitting method and an acquiring method, a means, and a system regarding information acquisition which comply with the demand of a user who tries to acquire information and is made higher in the degree of freedom by performing selecting operation discriminatingly between information which can be acquired faster and information which can not be acquired faster when information is acquired from a communication network such as the Internet. SOLUTION: By this method, an information providing device which is connected to terminal devices via the communication network such as the Internet and provides information for the terminal devices transmits the information in response to access from the terminal devices. This information providing device when responding to access from the mentioned terminal device to 1st page data of an information providing host homepage, etc., transmits combined data including the identifier data of the terminal device and 1st page data of the information providing device, and 2nd page data of a slave homepage, etc., corresponding to the link key present in the 1st page data to the terminal device.
