PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which gives a color image having no color slippage at a low cost and an optical scanner suitable for the image forming device. SOLUTION: The optical scanner includes a lens 9 having a limited focus length and a cylindrical lens 11 which give predetermined characteristics to light beams emitted from plural light sources, a mirror unit 13 for resultant laser beam which condenses light beams passing through the lenses, a deflection device 5 which deflects the condensed light beam, a first and a second focusing lenses 30a and 30b which compensate the aberration characteristics of the deflected light beams at an image formation position, and one or three mirrors which emit the light, passing through each image formation lens, at predetermined position, thus a color image having no color slippage is provided with a combination of only two lenses.
