PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet capable of preventing its cylindrical part from being rubbed against and damaged by a release wire. SOLUTION: The grommet 10 has a body 20 approximately in the shape of a cylinder having a bottom, a groove part 22 which is formed in the peripheral surface 21 of the body 20 and fittable to the brim part 15A of the opening of a fitting hole 15, the cylindrical part 26 which is united with the bottom part 23 of the body 20 and which a wire harness 17 is insertable through, and an inserting hole 29 for a release wire 18 which is formed in the bottom part 23 of the body 20 for inserting the release wire 18, and is provided with a holding means 30 which is a member for making the release wire 18 arrangeable along the peripheral surface 17 of the cylindrical part 26, and holds the release wire 18 separating it from the peripheral surface 27 of the cylindrical part 26 relatively, so that the release wire 18, the peripheral surface 27 and the hem part 28 of the cylindrical part 26 are not brought into contact with each other. |
