PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproduction apparatus that can realize a high number of revolutions at a low cost while suppressing the circuit scale for detecting electronic watermark information. SOLUTION: A signal is read from a disk 2 driven by a spindle motor 6 and whether the signal is a video signal is detected. When the video signal is detected, the transfer rate of the video signal transferred to an electronic watermark information detection circuit 10 is decreased e.g. by reducing the speed of the spindle motor 6. |
