PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a half-toroidal type non-stage transmission which can correctly not only detect the actual inputted number of revolution but also to relax the generated value of stress and also concentration of stress and improve fatigue strength, in comparison with a normal disk that cuts were made over the entire surface of the radial part. SOLUTION: In the half-toroidal type non-stage transmission, which by the inclined revolution of a power roller 8 standing between an input disc 4 and an output disc 6 that are interposed facing each other, is constituted so that the gear ratio between the two discs changes without a stage, it has a straight part 20 which has no cut and a part 21 which has cuts to be used for the detection of number of revolution are provided cyclically on the peripheral face of at least either of the input disc 4 and the output disc 6, and a rotating sensor 22 is provided facing the part 21 which has cuts.
