PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demolition method for building dispensing with watering during a demolition work and free from the fear of scattering of powder dust or harmful materials. SOLUTION: A synthetic resin sheet 13 is laid over the circumference including four sides and upper surface of a building 12 to be demolished by use of struts 10 and wires 11, whereby a substantially cubic working space 14 shielded from the outside air is formed. The air in the working space 14 is sucked by an air pump 21, and the demolition work of the building 12 is performed in the state where the pressure within the working space 14 is kept lower than the atmospheric pressure.
