PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple building capable of preventing water received by the receiving part of a girder from overflowing indoors. SOLUTION: The simple building 1 is provided with a roof panel 11, a rafter 7, and the girder 9, which is provided with the receiving part 14 for receiving the lower end part 13 of the rafter 7. The receiving part 14 installed in the longitudinal direction of the girder 9 is provided with contact parts 17 and 21 coming in contact with the rafter 7, a non-contact part 29, and a drain inlet part 27 installed to the end part side relative to a gable rafter 23. The contact parts 17 and 21 and the non-contact part 29 are installed in the longitudinal direction of the girder 9, and the rafter 7 and the non-contact part 29 form a space 30.
