PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the earthquake resisting of a structure by restraining a skeleton's weight from being increased due to the adoption of a great span in a flat slab structure and the like. SOLUTION: An axial-force column 1 for bearing a vertical load is disposed between upper and lower adjacent slabs 6 and 6, both ends of the column 1 are made to abut on the surface of a slab 6, the vertical load is transmitted between the column 1 and the slab 6, and the column 1 is joined to the slab 6 in such a state as not to transmit bending moment.
