PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for card which locks a card inserted into a card receiving cavity and prevents it from unexpected slipping out. SOLUTION: The connector for the card is formed approximately in U-shape by a slender main body part 4 and a pair of side parts 5, and comprises an insulation housing 1 separately forming a card receiving cavity 6 between a pair of the side parts 5, and a plurality of terminals 2 arranged laterally in the main body part, and an eject mechanism 3 for ejecting the card is composed by a rotation lever 8 and an eject rod 9. A tilting means composed of a guide groove and a guide boss is installed between the eject rod 9 and a support frame 10. The eject rod 9 is made so as to tilt according to the back and forth movement of itself. A locking tab 32 facing the card receiving cavity 6 side is attached to the eject rod 9, and the locking tab 32 is made so as to move between the position locking the card inserted into the card receiving cavity 6, and the position outside of the card receiving cavity 6. |
