PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a means for accurately storing the data of a replaced nonvolatile memory into a replacing nonvolatile memory by an easy method is not considered when the nonvolatile memory is replaced as a life component of a device equipped with the nonvolatile memory storing data for managing the adjustment values and life of the device and a flash memory storing a control program. SOLUTION: By this nonvolatile memory replacing method for the device equipped with the nonvolatile memory storing data managing the adjustment values and life of the device and the flash memory storing the control program, the contents of the nonvolatile memory are temporarily saved on the flash memory when the end of the life of the nonvolatile memory is detected, a message requesting the replacement of the nonvolatile memory is outputted, and when the power source is turned on next time, it is confirmed that the nonvolatile memory has been replaced and the data which are temporarily saved on the flash memory are stored into the new nonvolatile memory. |
