PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thinner type fan motor by providing a compact drive means of simplified construction which can drive a motor to rotate with inclusion of a fan section within an external housing. SOLUTION: This fan motor comprises a motor 15 including an outer case provided with a fan 26, a motor casing 18 which supports the motor 15 via a plurality of spokes 18a to 18d, and a drive means 17 for driving the motor 15 to rotate. The drive means 17 is provided to the spoke 18a. |
