PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte type gas sensor having excellent low- temperature operability and preventing deterioration of sensitivity due to vapor or dew condensation in the atmosphere for improving sensitivity stability along with the lapse of time. SOLUTION: In this solid electrolyte type gas sensor element, a working electrode and a reference electrode are constructed via a solid electrolyte prepared by adding one or more kind of compound among aluminum, gallium, indium, magnesium, strontium, and a transition metal containing compound of 1-6 wt.% in oxide terms to a lanthanum gallate group oxide sintered body, La1-sSrsGa1-mMgmOx (s<=0.2, m<=0.2, x<3) especially. |
