<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible joint improving work efficiency and capable of reliably closing between a small-diameter tube section and a rib pipe by facilitating the execution work for connecting the rib pipe to a manhole and a hand hole or the like. SOLUTION: A large-diameter tube section provided at one end of a joint body made of an elastic raw material is fixed to a bore hole provided on the manhole and the hand hole or the like by an expanding ring, the rib pipe is inserted into the small-diameter tube section provided at the other end of the joint body and fixed by a fastening ring, and the rib pipe is connected to the manhole and the hand hole by this flexible joint. An annular projection coupled between ribs protruded on the outer periphery of the rib pipe is formed on the inner periphery of the small-diameter tube section, two annular grooves recessed into a circular arc shape are provided in parallel on the inside face at the prescribed interval from the annular projection, and the small-diameter tube section is folded to the outside of the joint body from the portion of the annular grooves.</p> |
