<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buried cap screw for linear guide unit in which fitting of the buried cap screw into an installation hole is simple and dependable as compared with a conventional buried cap screw made of synthetic resin liable to be sunk in the installation hole due to the effect of chips and the like. SOLUTION: The buried cap screw 50 fitted into the installation hole formed on a raceway track rail is introduced easily into the installation hole by means of an introduction part 54 formed underside 52 with smaller diameter outer periphery than the bore diameter of the installation hole and the introduction part 54 helps stabilize the posture of the buried cap screw 50 in the installation hole. By press fitting the buried cap screw 50 into the installation hole with the posture being in such stabilized condition, a fitting part 55 on top face 51 side is press fitted positively into the installation hole. Since a pressing force can be relieved by a plurality of relief grooves 56 formed on the fitting part 55 with depth larger than a press fitting allowance, such deformation as to expand the raceway track rail is prevented from occurring.</p> |
