PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out battery replacement easily and speedily by making the battery freely attached and detached to and from the side face of a vehicle body during battery replacement. SOLUTION: A battery body equipped with ribs 6 at both ends is carried inside a battery-containing space 13 through an opening part notched at the side face of the body frame 10. The ribs 6 of the battery body 1 are held higher than a fixing piece 16 equipped at the side of the body frame, and a bracket 21 is arranged from under them. Then, a bolt 18 is screwed into screw hole 22 of the bracket 21 through an insertion hole 17 of the fixing piece 16 to fix the bracket 21 to the fixing piece 16. After that, the battery body 1 is put down and the ribs 6 are placed between juts 23 on the top surface of the bracket 21. Further, contrary steps are taken when the battery body 1 is to be removed.
