PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for building capable of significantly shortening the process compared with a conventional one in the adaptation of a laminating method for forming an outer wall ahead. SOLUTION: This method comprises assembling a circumferential column 2 from down to up by successively connecting steel frame members 1 upward, mounting a beam every upward assembling of the circumferential column 2, and then forming a floor slab and an outer wall. In the assembling of the circumferential column 2, the main welding of only a portion 8a facing the outer wall 5 of the connection part 8 between the steel frame members 1 is completed, the outer wall 5 is supported by the circumferential column 2 and formed, and the main welding of the part except of the part facing the outer wall 5 of the connection part 8 is completed.
