PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viewing and hearing contents reproducing device and a viewing and hearing contents distribution system which slove the problem related to the amount of data of viewing and hearing contents and promote the circulation of the viewing and hearing contents among the customers. SOLUTION: The viewing and hearing contents reproducing device is provided with a key information acquisition means which obtains key information, that unlocks viewing limitation of a distributed viewing and hearing contents storage medium, from a contents information server using a prescribed acquisition method and a reproducing means which unlocks the viewing limitation of the viewing and hearing contents using the medium and the key information and reproduces the contents of the medium.
