PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely load a memory card. SOLUTION: The memory card loading device 11 has a loading mechanism 15 which moves the memory card in an inserting direction and automatically loads it when the memory card is inserted into a prescribed position. The loading mechanism 15 has a card holder 14 into which the memory card is inserted, locking arms 16 and 18 arranged on both sides of the card holder 14, a pair of coil springs 20 and 21 energizing the card holder 14 in the card inserting direction (Ya direction) and a base 22 supporting the card holder 14 so that it can slide. When the memory card is pressed in the inserting direction, the locking arms 16 and 18 rotate in a lock releasing direction and the card holder 14 is started to move in the inserting direction by the spring force of the coil springs 20 and 21. Accordingly, the connector pins 46 provided on a tip part of the memory card is brought into contact with the connector pins 25 of a connector 24. |
