<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten a shielding ability by simple structure. SOLUTION: A base board side connector 30 is composed of a housing 31 which houses terminal metal fittings 35 connected to core wires of respective shield wires 11 of a flat cable 10, and a shield shell 40 covering the above, and arranged at one end side of a circuit board 50. Either end part of a back surface of the housing 31 where a mounting part 37, connecting the terminal metal fittings 35 with conduction paths, is drawn out, is covered by a joint plate 44 of the shield shell 40, and from there, a connection piece 48, formed in folded shape, is connected to a grounding circuit on the circuit board 50 by soldering. When a cable side connector 20 is fitted, respective shield wires 11 are grounded in common through the shield shell 40, and a shield effect, such as removal of radiation noise, is obtained by dint of the shield shell 40. As a current flows on the shield shell 40 as far as its back peripheral part, noise is canceled over wide area.</p> |
