PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery which has a high reliability and can diminish the occupied volume, and a portable apparatus using the battery. SOLUTION: The battery 1 is provided with a power generating element 6, an outer packaging material 13, a board 9 and an electrode 12a. The outer packaging member 13 holds the power generating element 6 and a sealing part for sealing the element 6. An opening part 4a is formed at the sealing part 3 of the outer packaging member 13. The board 9 is held inside the sealing part of the outer packaging member 13. The electrode 12a is placed on the board 9 so as to be exposed through the opening part 4a and is electrically connected with the power generating element 6. |
