PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positional information transmitter which is capable of acquiring rough positional information concerning movable bodies, such as persons, vehicles, and things without maintaining regular communication constantly, even if it moves out of a communication range. SOLUTION: A positional information transmitter is equipped with a GPS- receiving part 2 which calculates positional information, on the basis of GPS signals and a mobile communication part 3 such as a portable telephone or a PHS which transmits positional information, a communication discriminating part 4 which discriminates the communication range of the mobile communication part 3, and a positional information storing part 5 which stores positional information. When the communication discriminating part 4 determines that the mobile communication part 3 has moved of the communication range, positional information is outputted from the positional information storing part and transmitted from the mobile communication part 3. |
