PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and miniaturize the constitution of a recording medium loading device to be mounted on a disk device or the like for carrying a recording medium (disk) between the loading position and the ejecting position, and to prevent the destruction of components due to static electricity. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a chassis 10, a tray 2 constituted so as to be movable between the housing position in the chassis 10 and the ejecting position pulled out of the chassis 10 for holding a disk 3, an LED 40 arranged at the chassis 10, and an ejection bar 22. This ejection bar 22 is arranged at the tray 2, and constituted so that lights can be transmitted through the inside part, and this ejection bar 22 is provided with a light receiving part 31 constituted so as to be faced to the LED 40 when the tray 2 is positioned at the housing position for receiving the lights emitted by the LED 40 and an operating/light emitting part 30 for displaying the lights received by the light receiving part 31 so that the lights can be visualized from the outside.
