PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a shutter member automatically in the direction closing an aperture part provided in a cartridge casing when a disk cartridge is loaded or discharged in or from a case. SOLUTION: An optical disk 11 is housed in the disk housing chamber 16 of the cartridge casing 12 formed by superposing a set of shells 13, 14, and 15. A case 90 for a disk cartridge is provided with a cartridge housing part 93 for loading or discharging the disk cartridge 10 on which shutter members 18a and 18b to open and close the aperture parts 25 and 42 provided in the cartridge casing 12 to expose a part of the optical disk 11 are mounted. A protrusion 95 to engage with the cartridge casing 12 by the insertion operation of the disk cartridge 10 and to energize the shutter members 18a and 18b in the direction closing the aperture parts 25 and 42 is provided in the cartridge housing part 93.
