PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a returned coin take-out device for an automatic vending machine which prevents burglar and mischief and facilitates taking out of a coin. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a returned coin take-out port 15 provided at the front surface door 2 of the automatic vending machine, a coin receiving box receiving the coin 6 fed by a coin mechanism and holding it and a cover 14 fitted to the door 2 attachably and detachably from the back of the port 15 and surrounding at least both of the sides and the rear side of the box 13. The box 13 is supported turnably within a range where the coin can be taken out and held. Thus, in the state of holding the coin 6, the upper part of the coin receiving box projects forward from the port 15 so that the coin 6 can be taken out. In the state of being empty, the upper part of the coin receiving box is energized backward to close the port 15.
