PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartoon editing supporting apparatus for supporting cartoon editing. SOLUTION: This cartoon editing supporting device 100 is provided with an editing supporting part 20, a display controlling part 60 and an input supporting part 70. The controlling part 60 generates data for display about the digital cartoon image of a cartoon original and transmits the data for display to a monitor 16. As a result, the digital cartoon image corresponding to the cartoon original is displayed on the monitor 16. The supporting part 70 supports the editing and input of the digital cartoon image. A user can edit the cartoon original by using module functions included in the editing supporting part 20.
