PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow control valve which is low cost and is superior in flow control performance. SOLUTION: A valve body 2, for opening or closing a port 4 by means of rotating about axis of a valve rod 3, is disposed inside a valve casing 1; the valve body 2 is formed to spherically curve, a closing plug 2a which fully closes the port 4 in one side of the valve body 2 is formed; a large diameter of an aperture 2b which fully opens the port 4 in other side of it is formed; a plurality of small diameter of apertures 2c are formed between the closing plug 2a and the large diameter of the aperture 2b; and then the closer each small diameter of the apertures 2c is placed in the side of the large diameter of the aperture 2b, the larger the diameter of their apertures is formed.
