PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pavement block for preventing the functional loss by accumulation of sand dust in a recessed groove arranged on a block surface. SOLUTION: In this pavement block 1, the recessed groove 2 continuously extending up to the other side from mutually opposing one sides is arranged by one strip or plural strips on at least one block surface. The recessed groove 2 is formed of a flat groove bottom surface 2a, an inclined groove side surface 2b continuing with the block surface by extending obliquely outward and upward from groove width directional one end of the groove bottom surface 2a and a vertical groove side surface 2c continuing with the block surface by almost vertically rising from the groove width directional other end of the groove bottom surface 2a.
