<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress defective operation of a variable nozzle when reducing an opening of the variable nozzle. SOLUTION: When an engine operation is shifted from start time to idle time, a target negative pressure at start time is gradually increased during a first period T (VGT negative pressure is gradually increased) and is set to a target negative pressure at idle time when the first period T ends. Finally, the target negative pressure is set as a control negative pressure to which smoothing control and advance compensation processing is applied, and the VGT negative pressure for closing an opening of the nozzle of a VGT 20 gradually from its fully opened condition is set based on the control negative pressure.</p> |
